Apparently, when rescuers first found this pooch, she was experiencing terrible pain. This was because she had been hit by a car that ended up breaking her back.
The pain she experienced also made Janie feel terribly scared, which was why she refused to let anyone come near her.
Thanks to some very patient people, Janie regained her health and her good spirits. Thus, she is now ready and willing to cuddle with a human every once in a while.
