14 DAY TRIAL // Seals are nothing short of adorable and, judging by the video above, they are also quite affectionate. The footage was shot in the waters off Cape Cod in the US, and shows a seal hopping into a boat and cuddling with one of the men aboard it.
According to Huffington Post, the two men were out at sea looking to hunt some ducks when the seal showed up and jumped inside their boat. It then lay on top of the hunter as if it were in dire need of loving.
“While layout boat hunting we had a seal get in the boat and lay right on me, it all happened fast. All I was thinking about was the thing biting my face because he was so close. I could feel his breath on my face,” the hunter recollects.
Given the fact that quite a lot of sharks are known to swim around Cape Cod, it is possible that the seal jumped inside the boat not because it found the hunter irresistible and could not help giving it a hug, but because it was trying to avoid becoming some shark's midday snack.
