The video above is intended to prove that Samsung is not the one to toy with serious matters such as corporate social responsibility, hence their decision to invest in granting locals living in the Brazilian Amazon access to technology.

According to company representatives, the Brazil Amazon Community Center they have debuted in this part of the world only last June consists of schools, dormitories and health-care centers.

As well as this, a technology center and a library allow local youth to better their education.

Apparently, Samsung is also quite keen on promoting forest conservation, and believes that education is one sure way to protect ecosystems in the Amazon.

This is simply because it enables people to earn their living without having to become slash-and-burn farmers.

“Samsung CSR [Corporate Social Responsibility] activities initiative leverages Samsung's innovation and technology, which enabled the company to become a leader in the electronics industry, to build a better life for children,” the company explains.
