Samsung seems to have a new motto – “not a week without a new Galaxy Tab S commercial.” Since the AMOLED tablet duo was launched a few months ago, the Korean tech giant has been aggressively trying to promote its latest flagship tablets.

Well, in case you missed seeing a new Galaxy Tab S ad, Samsung is here to indulge your little obsession with a new video called simply “Hands-on.”

In it, a guy walks around the city and is handing out the Galaxy Tab S and iPad Air pairs to people on the street, asking them to make a comparison.

Which is lighter and which displays colors better, he asks. And all the folks in the video respond the same, the Samsung one, of course.

The ad explains why the screen is so much better. Because the Tab S has 4,096,000 pixels, while the iPad has just a 3,145,728. That’s a million pixels extra on the Samsung slate.

The video concludes the Tab S is “Thinner. Brighter. Lighter” So yes, you should go out and buy it.

However, what Samsung doesn't tell you is that some users have been complaining their models tend to overheat, causing the back panel to deform. Sammy brushed this off saying it affects only a handful of devices, but the risk of getting a "tainted" one is still there.
