Watch: “Resident Evil: Retribution” Featurette – Alice’s Story

Come September, a new installment in the “Resident Evil” franchise will be out in theaters and, by the looks of things, the movie studio is looking to make it just as accessible for non-fans as it is to RE fans.

Above is a featurette that was recently released, helping those not acquainted with the franchise put things into context.

Aptly called “Alice's Story,” it briefly presents the events in all the other 4 “Resident Evil” movies, explaining how come Alice came to be Umbrella's biggest and most bitter enemy.

Considering that the trailer released some time ago included many characters left for dead in the previous films, it totally makes sense to have a featurette showing them as well, to lower the chances of having newcomers baffled by the plot.

Check it out. “Retribution” will be out in theaters in 3D on September 15.
