14 DAY TRIAL // A raccoon has been caught on camera in Toronto walking a high-wire while clutching on to power and telephone lines. The clever beast was noticed by a nurse in the Danforth section of the city.
She rushed to get a camera thinking that her husband wouldn't believe the story if she told him. She also added a commentary to the clip, documenting the dangerous journey of the raccoon from one pole to the next.
Fortunately, the animal made it on the other side in one piece, although it did stop, as if to assess the situation at one point.
“I was a little worried about (the raccoon) but he seemed to be doing whatever he needed to do to get to the other side,” Mavis Knight tells Metro News Canada.
