Barack Obama is President of the United States for another 4 years. Official figures have been released and, with them, he gave his highly anticipated victory speech.

Check it out in full above.

As we also noted a couple of hours ago, earlier on, Obama had said that he had prepared 2 different speeches, just in case, because he didn’t want to be surprised.

His victory speech, held just minutes ago, was powerful, touching, humble and, above all, optimistic, with the President saying he’d “never been more hopeful about America.”

“Tonight in this election, you, the American people, remind us while our road has been hard, while our journey has been long, we have picked ourselves up, we have fought our way back, and we know in our hearts that the United States of America – the best is yet to come,” Obama said.

Because a photo is worth a thousand words and a video even more, check out his entire victory speech above.
