Recent news from Warsaw, Poland informs us that the world's thinnest house has officially been built.

It may very well be that this particular residence is just 5 feet (about 120 cm) at its widest, and 3 feet (roughly 90 cm) at its narrowest, but the people behind this project claim that a bedroom, a dining room, a kitchen and a bathroom all made their way into this construction.

Truth be told, the expected population growth and the expansion of urban areas worldwide might soon lead to other such tiny houses being built, simply because human society will find itself running out of space.

Jakub Szczesny, the Polish architect who came up with the design for this peculiar piece of urban architecture, claims that, in spite of its size, the house is fully functional and comes equipped with all the modern facilities its residents might need.
