First off, fair warning: chances are the video below will give you goosebumps, maybe even make you want to scream and hide someplace where no brown bear could ever see you, let alone approach you.

The footage was shot in the McNeil River State Game Sanctuary and Refuge in Alaska, and it shows a wildlife photographer's very close encounter with a brown bear which, for some reason, felt the need to come close to him.

According to Huffington Post, the man featured in the video is Drew Hamilton, who now works with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game and who, at that time, was photographing brown bears in said protected area.

At one point, one of the bears Drew Hamilton was taking pictures of decided to visit the photographer's camping site and even sat very close to him, probably looking to enjoy the scenery from a different perspective.

After a while, the bear gets up and leaves. This is yet to be confirmed, but I for one think that, during this entire encounter, Drew Hamilton's heart was pretty much racing in his throat. I know this is how mine would have reacted.

Truth be told, this footage is not exactly new. On the contrary, it was shot back in 2012. However, it was posted on YouTube only a few days ago and is now making the rounds on the Internet.
