New single will come with visual companion that overdoses on pink and pop culture

Even though the entire world (but her fans) thought Paris Hilton would quietly go away at some point, having outstayed her welcome in showbiz, she is still working hard, still making a lot of money. Having just recently reinvented herself as a DJ, she is yet to give up on her dreams of being a respected pop star.

My advice for her would be to stick to the DJ-ing, especially since it pays so good and she’s a magnet for large crowds, because the pop career thing isn’t likely to get off at any point, not if she’s not willing to add a twist to her trademark style.

Above is a teaser Paris just introduced, for the official music video for “Never Be Alone.” The song is just what you’d expect, a mixture of dance beats and over-processed vocals, with repetitive words that are meant to get you singing along even after you’re done listening to the track.

As for the video, it too is exactly what you’d expect: an overdose of pink and pop culture, with Paris presenting herself as a pop icon / living Barbie, all with gorgeous but immature fashion, lots of fake hair, and the bluest of blue eyes.

It’s basically “Good Time” (her previous release, which was widely criticized and mocked online), but girlier. Barbie-er.
