Watch Out for the First Stock Exchange of Web Traffic

- A new Internet scheme has made its way on a Russian-based website

By: Traian Teglet, Technology News Editor

If you think that your website isn't making enough money mainly because it has few visitors to start with, then take a look at what Robotraff.com has to offer. First of all, take into account that this website
calls itself "the first stock exchange of web traffic". However, what appears to be a money-making solution is just another Russian-based website trying to make an Internet click fraud boost its accounts.

As most of us know, webmasters earn money through a number of ways, most of which need a high stable traffic. The more visitors your webpage has, the better the revenue is going to be. While most sites try to do this in a clean and legal way, there are also those in search of overnight success. The Robotraff.com website speculates on that and tries to offer its clients a way by which they can improve the traffic on their website.

Turning to the "green" website, users can see a detailed table of the site's clients. The details include traffic speed, total traffic available, price, and a breakdown by country and Web browser. There is even a top 5 display of the Most Wanted Traffic and Speed Traffic, just to show you how high on quality their site really is. One of the latest news featured on their site informs its clients of a newly added function, My Profile, which lets users add their personal data about the company, to be used in a catalog of participants.

Obviously, in order to be in the specified Exchange catalog, you have to become a VIP user, which will also enable you to benefit from other VIP treatment. The scheme should be obvious to serious users, the Terms and Services, which all Robotraff users must sign, clearly specify that redirecting users to adult sites is forbidden. However, if you are to look at one of those Top 5 rankings, you are going to see a user asking $5.2 for a mix of Russia-based adult Web sites.
