Video game developer Turtle Rock and publisher 2K Games are delivering a new massive gameplay-related video for their upcoming Evolve experience, which uses an alpha version of the asymmetrical shooter in order to show fans some of the core features and the kind of impressive moments it can create.

The Twitch stream features members of the studio talking about the moment-to-moment action and about their overall aims for the player experience.

Evolve is a complex title which pits a team of four human players against a very powerful monster, with teamwork and communication very important for the hunters, while careful movement and use of powerful special abilities are the key to success for the beast.

Turtle Rock says that it wants to create a very varied first-person shooter experience which allows gamers to choose a class that best suits their play style, while encouraging them to work well with friends in order to achieve objectives.

The shooter was initially set to arrive at some point during this fall, but the two companies have decided to delay it to February 10, 2015 in order to make sure that it delivers the quality that the community is expecting.

Evolve can be played on the PC, the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the Xbox One from Microsoft.
