Apocalyptic super-storm throws a wrench in Google and Samsung's plans

Google was supposed to hold an important launch event today (Monday, October 29, 2012), but Hurricane Sandy, the super-storm that caused meteorologists to freak out on the news the other day, wouldn't have it.

Google had to postpone its press conference in New York. This, unfortunately, means that the high-resolution (2560 x 1600 Super AMOLED display) Nexus 10 Tablet, built for Google by Samsung, will not be released as planned.

Fortunately, the people from BriefMobile got a chance to shoot a video of the tablet. Sadly, it is very, very short, showing only the basic screen and the speed with which the browser launches.

We are still waiting for information about when and where Google will resume its Nexus 10 marketing plan. Hurricane Sandy, or the Frankenstorm as scientists have taken to calling it, will probably have to end first.
