Starring Sean Penn as a mafia boss who runs the town and calls all the shots,
“Gangster Squad” also focuses on the thin line between doing what's right and abiding the law.
Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin and Nick Nolte are cops who set their badges aside and agree to get their hands dirty to make things right again.
Emma Stone plays the damsel in distress.
