Far Cry 4 has just received a brand new gameplay video, complete with developer commentary from Ubisoft, showing off the big open world as well as the special Shangri-La missions that are included in the upcoming first-person shooter.

Far Cry 4 introduces quite a lot of new things to the conventional franchise recipe, from the new setting of Kyrat, a Himalayan country ruled by a dictator, to a new protagonist, in the form of Ajay Ghile, and plenty of fresh adventures.

The game was showcased at Gamescom 2014 last week and now Ubisoft has released alongside Sony a special gameplay video that shows fresh footage from the new shooter, while delivering plenty of new details from the game's developers.

From the big open world that can be explored in a variety of ways to the special Shangri-La missions that arm players with a bow and allow them to summon a deadly tiger, plenty of great moments are promised for Far Cry 4.

As expected, the video also emphasizes the PlayStation exclusive deal offered to owners, as they can invite friends over the PlayStation Network to play Far Cry 4 cooperatively with them even if they don't have the actual game.

Far Cry 4 launches this November for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
