Watch: Most Disgusting Anti-Smoking Advert, Courtesy of UK's Department of Health

The video shows cancerous cells growing inside a cigarette

New anti-smoking ad is disgusting, to say the least (viewer discretion recommended)
New Year's Eve and 2013 are just around the corner, and there are plenty of people out there who are seriously looking into the possibility of giving up smoking. Starting January 1, of course.

New Year's Eve and 2013 are just around the corner, and there are plenty of people out there who are seriously looking into the possibility of giving up smoking. Starting January 1, of course.

UK's Department of Health is well aware of this situation, and has decided to launch a new anti-smoking campaign, whose sole purpose is that of making it easier to people to put this habit behind them.

The advert shown in the video above is part and parcel of this campaign, and most people agree that it is one of the most disgusting they have ever had the chance to look at.

This is because the ad shows cancerous cells growing from inside a cigarette while a man is busy smoking it. The ad will run for about nine weeks on television, billboards and online, so odds are few will get a chance to miss it.

Viewer discretion is recommended when watching the video.
