Microsoft, 4J Studios, and Mojang have just rolled out a brand new video detailing the save game and world transfer process from the Minecraft Xbox 360 edition to the new Minecraft Xbox One version, which has just been released for the new console.

Minecraft experienced a surge in popularity once it appeared on the Xbox One, reaching over 13 million people, further solidifying the success the indie game had on other platforms like PC, or PS3.

Now that the Minecraft Xbox One version has just been released, a new video has appeared, showing how the save game and world transfer process, from the Minecraft Xbox 360 edition to the Xbox One iteration works.

The process is quite simple but bear in mind that only one world can be transferred at a time, so don't expect any batch operations.

In case you forgot, Minecraft Xbox One edition is now available for download on the new Microsoft console for 20 USD/EUR, but those who already own the Xbox 360 version can get it for just 5 USD/EUR, as part a special upgrade offer.

While Minecraft PS4 edition is already available, save game transfers from the PS3 edition aren't yet available, as the patch that brings the functionality is still in development.
