The single is called “It’s a Beautiful Day” and the video is the perfect visual companion for it.
With lyrics like “baby, any day that you’re gone away / It’s a beautiful day,” it makes sense to base the story of the video on that of an unfaithful wife.
She’s played to perfection by Jamie Pressly, who, apparently, can’t resist the nerd’s charms. His real name is Jesse Heiman and you will see he’s playing the same character as in the ad mentioned above.
Jessie the wife tires of the nerd and wants Buble back, but she finds he’s no longer paying attention because, to paraphrase the song, when she’s gone, the sun shines.
