Word has it the mannequins were tired of wearing toxic clothes

Just a few days ago, Greenpeace asked ordinary folks to lend it a helping hand in convincing Burberry to green up its ways.

Just in case the messages that the organization's members and supporters sent the fashion house did not hit home, Greenpeace activists also staged a protest that targeted the Burberry store in London, UK.

Footage of this protest is made available in the video below, and the Greenpeace members are the ones dressed in white.

According to the organization, the activists put on these suits to look like mannequins, and then walked out of the store on account of their being sick and tired to wear toxic clothes.

“A group of rogue mannequins got sick of modeling clothes made with hazardous chemicals so they decided to tell Burberry to stop using these little monsters in to make their clothes!” Greenpeace writes in the video's description on YouTube.

For the time being, the fashion house has not responded to the organization's accusation that the clothes it sells contaminate the environment, and might even be a threat to public health.
