14 DAY TRIAL // A new video that is now making the rounds online shows a man in Sweden scaring a charging bear into submission simply by roaring in its direction at the top of its lungs.
The footage, available below, shows the wild animal emerging from the woods and heading straight for the man without hesitation. Rather than freak out and try to make a run for it, the bear whisperer turns around to face his attacker.
He extends his arms to appear bigger, takes a few steps forward to prove that he has no intention to surrender and lets out a mighty roar.
Not being used to having its meals yell at it and possibly quite confused at the sight of the weird two-legged creature looking ready to put up a fight, the bear decides to abandon this confrontation and makes a quick getaway.
The positively jaw-dropping video documenting this very close encounter between man and beast includes footage shot both by the man who chased away the bear and by one of his companions.
From both perspectives, it's as clear as day that the man's reaction to its attack took the bear by surprise. Had the daredevil reacted any other way, odds are the bear wouldn't have backed down.
