It's Madonna's world, we're just living in it, critics say of her show

Last night at the Super Bowl, Madonna performed during what has come to be known as the most expensive and mediated 10+ minutes of American pop music. You can watch her entire gig above.

For about 13 minutes, Madonna danced and sang her heart out (apparently live only towards the end), putting on a show like no other, just as she promised.

She showcased only one new song, the single “Give Me All Your Luv” off the upcoming “M.D.N.A.” album, but plenty of new friends.

Joining the Queen of Pop on this gladiator-themed crazy ride were LMFAO, Nicki Minaj, M.I.A and Cee-Lo Green, all there basically to show their support for her – and to help her promote the aforementioned album.

The only time Madonna didn't actually promote anything, critics point out, was after she was gone from the stage through some sort of trap door and the message “World Peace” was displayed on the huge screens on which she'd danced until then.

Even though the performance was nothing but a means to push her next project, which is coming out in a couple of months, there's no denying that Madonna made for a very entertaining halftime performer.

Check out her performance above and let us know what you think of it.
