Beside all of the 3D HDTVs and camcorders, not to mention flood of Internet tablets that took CES 2011 by storm, we've come across plenty other interesting product announcements over the past couple of days, including here Hauppauge Digital's latest live TV streamer for the Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, called "Broadway”.

According to the company, this new streaming solution allows live TV to be watched on an Apple device in the home through a WiFi connection, or anywhere in the world via an Internet connection.

The Broadway streaming device includes a high definition H.264 video compressor, which can “process” TV programs from clear QAM digital cable TV or ATSC over-the-air TV in order to attain a specific format that can displayed on an Apple device.

The streaming sports a built-in multi-format TV receiver which can tune to digital cable TV channels and ATSC over-the-air broadcast TV channels, and then compress those TV channels and rebroadcast them over both WiFi and the Internet.

Plus, using the Broadway is quite an easy task, since it only requires a TV source and a connection to a home network router in order to carry out its specific task.

According to Hauppauge, the Broadway will have a suggested retail price of $199 and will be available in North America in about six weeks.

Beside the Broadway, Hauppauge Digital also introduced at CES 2011 the WinTV-Aero-m, a dual format Mobile Digital TV receiver that will enable PC or notebook users to watch live TV wherever they might be.

The device connects to a computer's USB port and then enables users to watch all of the available channels, either in windowed or full-screen mode.

The WinTV-Aero-m will have a MSRP of $69 and will arrive shortly in stores as well, although no specific availability details have been provided thus far.
