The baby lions chase each other, try to bite their mom's tail

About 7 weeks ago, three balls of fur showed up in the lions' enclosure at the Oregon Zoo. It was later revealed that the furballs were not some odd alien life forms, but baby lions. As one can easily imagine, this really took a load off keepers' chest.

The video above was posted online by the staff at the Oregon Zoo a few days ago. It shows the lion cubs, all grown up and confident, exploring the outdoor habitat.

They are accompanied by mom Neka, who does not seem to mind that they are acting like complete goofballs, chasing her around and even biting her tail.

In fact, Neka seems quite proud that her little bundles of joy have turned out to be such playful characters.

When they're not busy teasing their mom, the lion cubs climb whatever log they chance to find lying around, and even chase each other. Needless to say, they look utterly adorable the entire time.
