If superheroes were real, 24-year-old Zhao Rui, a Kung Fu master from China, would surely count himself among them

If we didn't know for a fact that superheroes are, well, a product of our imagination, we might just mistake 24-year-old Zhao Rui for one, and rightfully so.

As shown in the video below, this Kung Fu master from China can survive having somebody try to push a drill into his head, lie on metal spears, and use nothing but his throat to bend iron bars.

The 24-year-old can even survive a sharp knife pressing against his neck with tremendous force and not have at least one cut to show for it. Yup, he's this good.

By the looks of it, Zhao Rui took an interest in the martial arts when he was just a child. When he turned 16, he left his family and joined a Shaolin Temple.

In the years that followed, he studied with several Kung Fu masters and eventually became one himself. He says that he is now strong enough to break stones simply by smashing his head against them.

Then again, he admits than, when he was younger and inexperienced, it often happened that he was badly injured during training. One time, he had a chunk of his skin ripped off his body.

“It was pretty painful but I got better and I learned from the experience and now I can practice pretty often without any problems,” the 24-year-old explained in a recent interview.
