14 DAY TRIAL // Kids React is a weekly show created by The Fine Brothers where kids aged 5-14 express their honest opinions about viral videos, movies, politics, celebrities and more, or answer questions about random items.
Given that the protagonists of the series are children, the resulting videos are often hilarious and priceless.
This week's video, titled “Kids React to Rotary Phones,” can instantly make you feel old, as it shows the reactions of some truly confused youngsters when asked questions about a rotary phone.
They clearly belong to a new generation of phone users, so they don't know what a dial tone is, what busy signals mean and why the phone cannot send text messages.
In the new clip, kids aged 5 to 13 were asked to operate the old-fashioned phone without being given instructions on how to use it beforehand. When they see the obsolete item, kids react with surprise and confusion.
“An old-fashioned phone! I always thought they were really cool! This is like phones that my mom would use when she was a kid,” says an eight-year-old girl named Samirah.
The video becomes even more hilarious, when the youngsters are asked to send a text message using the rotary phone. That's when they stare at the device in complete bewilderment.
