As we also noted a week ago, Kim's spinoff show, which also features sister Kourtney as “co-star,” will heavily document the relationship with new husband Kris Humphries and hopefully reveal what went so wrong it made her want to get a divorce after just 72 days.
The latest episode picks right after Kris' departure from Minnesota and Scott Disick's going AWOL after another bitter fight with Kourtney.
Khloe comes to visit and does her best to make the two see that, sometimes, relationships need a lot of work in order to last, love is rarely enough.
She gets Kourtney to understand that she should spend more time with Scott as well and not just their adorable baby boy Mason, while working hard to convince Kim to pack her bags and fly to Minnesota to be with Kris.
Just as one things seem to be about to settle down, drama ensues. Khloe dares to walk in on Kim while she's sleeping to wake her up to say goodbye.
Just seconds later, Khloe and Kourtney are shown in the car (they're driving to the Hamptons to spend some time with Mason's parental grandparents), while Kim is raging on speaker phone.
When Kourt hangs up on her, Kim sends Khloe a very stingy email, in which she calls her anything from an “ugly little troll” to an “evil” woman.
The marriage counselor is clearly not wanted and / or appreciated anymore.
The episode aims to be a cliffhanger, with Khloe leaving without reconciling with Kim, who refuses even to acknowledge her, let alone to apologize for the awful things she's told her.
“I'm so annoyed with Khloe that I'd rather ignore her altogether until she calms down,” Kim offers as explanation for why she doesn't want to speak with her sister for a while.
