Watch: Kelly Clarkson Covers Britney Spears’ “Everytime”

Kelly Clarkson has one of the most loyal fanbases out there but, as it turns out, some of those fans are also into Britney Spears. Check out their reaction to Kelly covering “Everytime” in her most recent concert.

The “original American Idol,” as Kelly is dubbed in the press, has made something of a tradition of covering one song from another artist in concerts: the artist and the track are decided by the fans.

In Las Vegas on Friday, where she performed with The Fray at The Cosmopolitan, Kelly covered Britney Spears again.

This time, she sang her favorite song from the Princess of Pop and put her own spin to it, “Everytime.” You can see it above.

As if that's not enough to love Kelly, she's also extraordinarily modest, telling her fans she liked Britney's version best – and that she would try to do it justice.
