She's certainly got the look down: in the made-for-TV HBO film “Game Change,” Julianne Moore plays Sarah Palin, the controversial former governor of Alaska. The first trailer for the film has just dropped.

Starring Moore as Palin, Ed Hardy as John McCain and Woody Harrelson as his legal advisor Steve Schmidt, the film recalls the 2008 presidential elections and how McCain thought he'd have a better chance at the presidency with a woman running alongside him.

The film is based on the book “Game Change: Obama and the Clintons, McCain and Palin and the Race of a Lifetime,” by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann.

It is directed by Jay Roach, he of the “Austin Powers” fame.

In the first teaser trailer, which you can see above, Moore doesn't say much but the moment she makes her appearance, she wows by the almost uncanny similarity with the real thing.

However, the music is very “Inception” in style and, if you ask us, that distracts from what's happening onscreen.

“Game Change” will be out in March 2012.
