What an idiot. You cannot simply legislate clean energy. It will take a few scientific breakthroughs before it is even possible. In the mean time these super rich idiots would be hurt to pay double or triple for energy but the people who go see her movies will lose Air conditioning, Heat, Light, and anything that uses electricity. But according to these Hollywood idiots millions of people suffering without cheap energy would be a good thing.

When will those like Ms. Moore act to limit their own unsustainable behavior. Her industry would not exist without massive amounts of energy fueled by fossil fuels. These people fly all over to promote their movies, take limos to talk shows, own mansions, have numerous and enormous awards events, etc all of which creates more pollution than the middle class people they seek to punish by raising energy prices with ill-fated solutions like cap and trade and costly ineffective green energy. She is unaware that she will be making others suffer, especially the 3rd world poor who need cheap energy to survive, in order to push her idealism on others. Look at the bio-fuels disaster that is killing thousands and the financial collapse of nations involved in green energy has done little to reduce CO2 with effect ofcreating fuel poverty.

The end to global warming will not be pleasant.
