Ahead of the release of the David O' Russell gangster epic “American Hustle” on Blu-ray, a never-before-seen clip from the film that was deleted in the editing process is released on YouTube. The scene doesn't offer any spoilers for those that haven't seen the movie so feel free to watch.

The clip shows off Jeremy Renner's character, the shady but well-intentioned New Jersey Mayor Carmine Polito, who takes the stage during a political rally to address the constituency and ends up singing an impromptu version of Climax Blue Band's “Couldn't Get It Right.”

After news came out that the other big movie of the year, “The Wolf of Wall Street,” is going to be a full hour longer on its DVD release, it's interesting to see how many previously deleted scenes are going to be featured on the “American Hustle” Blu-ray.

For those of you not keeping track, “American Hustle,” the fictional retelling of the 1970s FBI operation ABSCAM, was nominated for ten Academy Awards but went home empty handed as “Gravity” and “12 Years a Slave” cleaned up the biggest categories.

Next month, the movie is up for eight MTV Movie Awards and fans hope that it's going to fair better than it did at the Oscars. “American Hustle” is supposed to come out on DVD and Blu-ray on March 18 in the United States and April 28 in Europe.
