In mid-February, Spider-Man got a second job. Long story short, he became an ambassador for this year's Earth Hour.

He did so not because he was in dire need to make some extra cash, but because he felt that he could do more for the planet and the people inhabiting it than run around fighting crime and the forces of evil.

Together with Andrew Garfield, Jamie Foxx and Emma Stone have also agreed to support the WWF's Earth Hour movement.

Apart from backing this initiative themselves, the actors are now asking that ordinary people also get involved and become superheroes for the planet, just like Spider-Man is.

In a new WWF video, available above, Jamie Foxx details that, to make a career as superheroes, all people need to do is head over to Earth Hour Blue, a digital crowdfunding and crowdsourcing platform.

Once here, folks are encouraged to choose a project that they would like to support. There are plenty of initiatives to choose from, but they all boil down to protecting wildlife and helping reduce greenhouse gas emission.

In case anyone was wondering, Jamie Foxx is a supporter of the Power up a Ranger project. Emma Stone, on the other hand, has decided to get behind the Puppy Protectors initiative.
