14 DAY TRIAL // Humpback whales are impressive creatures, and I'm sure they seem even more impressive and worthy of respect once one gets the chance to have a close look down their throats.
The video above was shot in Californian waters a few days ago and shows two divers nearly being gulped down by some whales.
The marine mammals were feeding on fish, and I'm sure they never intended to harm the strange two-legged creatures that were intruding on their territory.
Then again, when compared to the humpbacks, humans do look a lot like bite-size snacks, so it's understandable that the divers really freaked out. I'm sure many others would have reacted in the same manner.
Safe to assume the divers will be more cautious the next time they go swimming in the ocean, and will keep their distance from any whales they might encounter.
