Watch How Durable the Surface Tablet Really Is in Microsoft’s Crash Test [Video]

While the Surface tablet comes with so many great features, one of the best things about it is that it’s impressively durable. Or at least, that’s what Microsoft claims.

After a Microsoft executive used a tablet as his personal skateboard, the Surface Team decided to perform a drop test with the device in its Reliability Lab.

The result is, let’s say, impressive, given the fact that the Surface was dropped from more than 76 centimeters (30 inches).

Some claim it’s fake, others believe it’s an embarrassing attempt to brag about the tablet, but in the end, if that’s really true, we can’t help but applaud the Surface Vapor Magnesium case.

In the end, we’re pretty sure many will repeat the drop test unintentionally after they get the tablet, so we’ll get back to you whenever we hear something newsworthy about Surface’s strength.
