Artist Jason Mecier recently decided to pay a tribute to beauty queen Honey Boo Boo and use roughly 25 pounds (11.3 kg) of junk and recycled materials to make her portrait.

This portrait took about 50 hours to design and manufacture, and Jason Mecier explains that all of the items he used were inspired by the beauty queen.

Some of the junk that really stands out encompasses three tiaras, make-up, a McDonald's chicken nugget, and two Red Bulls.

Most of the people who watched this video agree that the artist's choice of materials was a most inspired one, and 400KrispyKremes even went as far as to say that, “It's so life-like.”

Speaking strictly from an environmentally-friendly standpoint, the idea to collect trash and turn it into artwork is noteworthy to say the least, which is why this portrait of Honey Boo Boo really deserves a thumbs-up.
