14 DAY TRIAL // In an attempt to educate folks about the devastating effects of deforestation, Swedish development corporation Vi Agroforestry has recently released a video showing what Sweden would look like should its most famous parks be left without their trees.
The video, made available to you above, shows how, in the absence of trees, otherwise gorgeous places such as the Humlegården and Pildammsparken become fairly dull, even depressing.
According to Trend Hunter, the Swedish development corporation hopes that, thanks to this video, people in Sweden will be able to gain a better understanding of how deforestation affects landscapes around the world.
Even though the video only focuses on parks and other patches of greenery that are part and parcel of Sweden's major urban areas, I dare say the message behind it is true for other countries as well.
