The organization is dead set on getting the company to green up its ways

Members and supporters of Greenpeace are nothing if not determined to convince Procter & Gamble to green up its ways and cut all ties with palm oil suppliers shown to be responsible for the destruction of many ecosystems in Indonesia.

Thus, it was just yesterday when nine Greenpeace activists rappelled down the company's headquarters in Cincinnati, US.

They hung banners accusing Procter & Gamble of helping bring endangered species such as tigers and orangutans closer to extinction, and only left when they were arrested.

Just in case this protest failed to get the message across and convince the company to start paying closer attention to its ecological footprint, the organization also released the video above.

The footage documents the impact that the palm oil industry had on forests in Indonesia and, consequently, on the creatures inhabiting them.

I don't know about you, but I have to admit this video made me rethink my choice of shampoo.

Greenpeace hopes that, by means of this video, it will manage to raise awareness about how Procter & Gamble's working agenda is further endangering species that already risk going extinct in the not so distant future.

The end goal is to get more people to support its cause and demand that Procter & Gamble quit using palm oil linked to deforestation.
