I've just stumbled upon this video, and I could not help but share it with you. The video was created by UC Berkeley Professor Michael Ranney and his colleagues, Inhabitat tells us, and it explains global warming in just 52 seconds.

More precisely, it details what makes greenhouse gases so bad, and why efforts must be made to stop sending more of them into our planet's atmosphere.

Interestingly enough, Professor Michael Ranney says that he came up with the idea to create this very simple explanation for global warming after he surveyed 270 people in San Diego and found that not even one of them could tell him what that phenomenon was all about.

Just for the record, the video was posted online back in October 2013, so it's not exactly what some might call “breaking news.” Still, I dare say it is worthwhile.
