14 DAY TRIAL // Now that winter is (more or less) finally over, the giraffes living at the Brookfield Zoo were allowed to once again explore their outdoor habitats for the first time in months.
The 5-month-old male shown running around and enjoying the great outdoors in the video above is named Dave, the staff at the Brookfield Zoo says.
Its enthusiasm also has a lot to do with the fact that this outing was the first of its kind for Dave. Thus, the giraffe was born in November 2012, and was not allowed to go outside until spring finally set it.
Few can argue against the fact that Dave's utter joy is contagious, to say the least, so here's hoping that other such videos will soon follow.
