14 DAY TRIAL // It would appear that not even ghosts can get out of their taking their sweethearts on a romantic outing on Valentine's day. What's more, it looks like they too feel like grabbing a drink by themselves in the dark, should they happen to be alone on this very special occasion.
The footage above was filmed at Ye Olde Man and Scythe in Bolton, England, this past February 14.
It allegedly shows a ghost stepping into the pub, exploring it for just a few seconds, and then disappearing from sight.
If you ask me, it was either looking for a bottle of wine to share with its loved one, or in desperate need to sip some whiskey and forget about his heartaches.
According to Mirror, the ghost was first spotted by manager Tony Dooley, who checked the cameras early in the morning only to discover that they had stopped recording at about 6.18 a.m.
“I came down and saw a glass smashed on the floor so I was instantly suspicious and went to check the CCTV and found it has stopped working. We checked the footage and it revealed this figure.”
“To be honest I was a bit concerned - I'm a bit of a skeptic when it comes to ghosts but you become more of a believer when you see things like that,” Tony Dooley told the press.
