While attending a red carpet event in Beverly Hills this past Saturday, George Clooney had the chance to talk to a bunch of reporters and share his views on climate change, global warming, and the people who deny the existence of these phenomena.

The actor mentioned the deadly typhoon Haiyan that hit the Philippines and argued that, in the aftermath of this storm and others of its kind, it's quite “stupid” to argue that climate change and global warming are merely a product of some people's imagination, The Blaze reports.

More so given the fact that most scientists and researchers keep telling us that they are as real as it gets.

“Well it’s just a stupid argument. If you have 99% of doctors who tell you you are sick, and 1% that says you’re fine, you probably want to hang out with the 99%,” the actor said.

“The idea that we ignore that we’re some way involved in climate change is ridiculous. What’s the worst that can happen? That we clean up the earth a little bit?” he added.
