14 DAY TRIAL // Fortnite, the upcoming cooperative shooter from Epic Games, has just received a new version of its recent "Defending the Fort" gameplay video, complete with commentary from one of its developers, detailing just what's happening in the footage.
Fortnite is one of Epic Games' biggest projects, promising to show off the power and versatility of its Unreal Engine 4 technology, while also taking the studio into a new direction by delivering a shooter that emphasizes crafting, exploring, and scavenging.
In order to show off just what can happen in a Fortnite match, a few weeks ago Epic launched a new video called "Defending the Fort."
Now, the studio has rolled out a fresh version of that footage, this time bringing in one of the game's developers to explain just what's happening in the video and how players can experience Fortnite.
From the basic exploring and the regular scavenging and looting systems, to the slightly more complex fort building mechanics, everything gets explained by Epic in the new video.
Fans will finally be able to experience Fortnite in the future, when a closed alpha stage is set to begin worldwide on the PC platform.
The actual game is set to appear in the slightly more distant future, once Epic is satisfied with its quality.
