This June 12, a flying bicycle made its debut in Prague. Check out the video above to see it take off and fly about a warehouse for a short while.

Sources say that this innovative bike was designed and manufactured by engineers working with three Czech companies.

Either because they don't trust their own invention or maybe because they couldn't find anyone willing to get on top of this weird means of transportation, the three Czech companies decided that a dummy passenger would be the one to accompany the bike on its maiden voyage.

Sources say that the bike weighs approximately 209 pounds (almost 95 kilograms). It can fly thanks to battery-powered propellers attached to its front and to its back.

It is still unclear when (if ever) ordinary folks might get the chance to take one such bike out for a spin.
