Shortly after announcing the Moto G, Motorola unleashed the first commercial for the affordable mid-range Android smartphone.

The 1-minute ad highlights some of the most important features of the Moto G, such as the quad-core processor and the high-capacity battery that should provide at least one day of heavy use.

Moto G will be available in some regions beginning this month, as some carriers have already confirmed they will offer the device in November for prices starting at $180 (€135).

The smartphone will ship with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, but Motorola confirmed it would offer a 4.4 KitKat upgrade in January 2014.

Motorola Moto G can't replace the hard to come by Nexus 5 (16GB), but at least it offers a decent alternative for those who don't want or can't afford to pay for a high-end device.
