This might come as a bit of a shock to a great deal of people, but it has been about 15 months since Felix Baumgartner's epic space jump. Yes, time sure does fly. Granted, not as fast as Felix did, but not as slow as we would want it to either.

Not to beat about the bush, it was on October 14, 2012 when this daredevil reached an altitude of 128,100 feet (about 39,045 meters) above the Earth's surface in a stratospheric balloon, and then jumped out of it.

This January 31, GoPro released this video which is says tells the entire story of this impressive space jump. The video is available on YouTube, and odds are it will soon go viral.

What I love most about it is that you get to witness the jump from Felix's perspective. Sure, you might experience some vertigo, but it is totally worth it.

“GoPro was honored to be a part of this epic achievement, with seven HERO2 cameras documenting every moment,” GoPro writes in the video's description.

“From the airless freeze of outer space, to the record-breaking free fall and momentous return to ground – see it all through Felix's eyes as captured by GoPro, and experience this incredible mission like never before. No one gets you closer than this,” it adds.
