14 DAY TRIAL // Trend Micro has released episode 5 of 2020, a web series that aims at revealing what the future holds as far as cyber security is concerned. The latest 5-minute episode is entitled “In it all the way.”
It shows the impact of a major cyberattack on the country’s transport systems, elections, stock markets and foreign relations. It also reveals how such an incident can be exploited by other cybercriminals for intellectual property theft.
This time, we learn that the cybercriminals behind the attack on South Sylvania tricked a programmer into developing the malware by telling him that they were planning on starting a revolution to “free everybody.”
He tries to go after the funds of the man who hired him, but his actions are countered and he becomes “visible.”
