It's Wednesday, and something tells me that there are folks in this world who could sure use some entertainment right about now. You know, just to help them make it through the rest of the workweek.

I am not one not to lend a helping hand to people who are in dire need of a smile on their face, so, without further ado, here is a video showing an elephant herd attacking a red ball and trying to assassinate it. Huffington Post tells us that the video was shot at the Elephant Nature Park in Thailand's Chiang Mai province. There are some who say that the elephants were not trying to make mincemeat of the big, red ball but were instead just trying to play with it.

However, I have a feeling that, as much fun as the pachyderms were having, the ball was not exactly having the time of its life. Hence its repeated attempts to get away from the elephant herd and hide someplace where the animals would not find it.

The Elephant Nature Park in Thailand is in the business of providing loving homes for elephants whose life hasn't quite been a walk in the park, and it also looks after other endangered animals. What's more, the facility is involved in forest restoration and cultural preservation.
