As Edie explains in the video above, circuses are guilty of torturing and abusing animals for the sake of entertainment and profits.
Therefore, parents would do best not to take their kids to any circus performances that also feature animals, simply because their doing so means that they are supporting animal abuse.
According to PETA and Edie Falco, the business of training circus elephants revolves around hitting the animals while the latter are still mere babies.
Furthermore, it is being said that the animals are constantly kicked and treated in an ill manner in order to make sure that they remain submissive.
