Ubisoft's Jonathan Morin, the director of the upcoming Watch Dogs open world experience, has confirmed that average players will be able to complete the game's story in about 35 to 40 hours and that they can finish all the activities in around 100 hours.

Watch Dogs was initially set to debut last fall, but Ubisoft took the decision to delay it so that the Ubisoft Montreal team could polish the open world experience and add new content to better hook in gamers.

Now, it seems that the new title will be a lengthy experience, as director Jonathan Morin confirmed on Twitter that the main story can be completed by average players who roam a bit around the city of Chicago in around 35 to 40 hours.

Completionists who want to finish all activities, find all collectibles, and fully explore the game's city will probably spend around 100 hours, according to Morin.

These figures are quite impressive and certainly worthy of a modern role-playing game, as stories from action-adventure titles like Watch Dogs usually end after 10-15 hours.

Watch Dogs is set to debut for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on May 27. It will also launch for the Wii U at a later point in time.
