A brand new statement seemingly from Ubisoft has appeared online talking about the resolution of the upcoming Watch Dogs on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles, confirming that it's 1080p full HD on PS4 and that it might be lower on Xbox One.

Watch Dogs is set to finally make its debut at the end of May, after being initially set to appear last November for a wide array of platforms.

Like any title that's going to appear on PS4 and Xbox One, rumors about its performance in terms of resolution and framerate have been floating around the web.

While Ubisoft is still staying silent on the matter, it seems that it made a video for YouTube about this subject but has since turned it private, according to Videogamer.

The website got a chance to see it for a short while, and it seems that, in the trailer, Ubisoft's cinematics animation lead, Lars Bonde, confirms that Watch Dogs uses the new consoles to their full capabilities, but that the resolution is still unclear on the Xbox One.

"We are utilizing Xbox One to its full capabilities and the same with the PS4, of course. I know that, as far as to my knowledge, on the PS4 it will run in full HD," the developer reportedly said.

Given that the video is private, we can't say for sure what resolution Watch Dogs will run at next month, so expect to hear more soon enough.
