A large UK retailer has pinned a March 21, 2014 release date onto Watch Dogs, the upcoming open world action game from Ubisoft, even if the publisher itself hasn't confirmed anything about the long-awaited title.

Watch Dogs was set to be one of the biggest all-new properties that appeared this year, but Ubisoft took a last-minute decision to delay the game in order to continue optimizing and polishing the experience.

Now, retailer ShopTo has just updated its listing for Watch Dogs, confirming that the game is going to launch on March 21, 2014.

This falls on a Friday and could be the European release date of the game, while the North American one would fall three days earlier, on March 18, 2014.

Bear in mind, however, that Ubisoft itself hasn't confirmed anything about the new release date of Watch Dogs, so it's probably better to wait for an official announcement.
